The Studio
No subcontractor hand-offs, no unfamiliar faces on your job site — just the same trusted team from first walkthrough to final coat.
You work directly with the people building your home, not a rotating cast of subcontractors and account managers.
Our carpenters, tile setters, and finishers are on our own payroll. The same hands that frame your millwork set the reveals and hang the doors, which is why the details hold up years after we leave.
We take on a small number of homes each year. That restraint is deliberate: it lets a principal stay on your project from the first walkthrough through the final punch list.

BeforeNorth Dallas
A gutted primary bath rebuilt from the studs — a frameless glass shower with a built-in niche, a freestanding soaking tub, and a double vanity finished in matte black hardware. Large-format porcelain tile runs the full floor for a seamless, spa-like feel, with layered lighting from dual sconces and updated overhead fixtures.

Greenland Hills
A full marble primary bath built around a freestanding soaking tub and an open glass shower, finished with brass fixtures and a capiz-shell chandelier. Book-matched marble runs floor to ceiling, with a honeycomb mosaic niche and a marble bench seat carried straight through the shower.

Forest Hills
A guest bath reimagined with a frameless sliding glass door set against dramatic marbled slab, an arched brass mirror, and fluted cabinetry with brushed brass hardware — a smaller footprint given the same level of detail as the primary suites.

BeforeLower Greenville
Walls opened to the studs and rebuilt around a farmhouse sink, herringbone tile backsplash, and quartz counters. White shaker cabinetry and open wood shelving replace the original layout, with a woven pendant anchoring the new dining area.

Plano
A full kitchen renovation centered on an oversized island in a contrasting black finish, topped with waterfall-edge marble-look quartz. Glass-front upper cabinets and a mosaic backsplash round out a timeless, classic palette.

Frisco
A two-story great room reimagined around a full-height porcelain slab wall — fireplace surround, TV niche, and a built-in display alcove all wrapped in continuous large-format tile. Matching marble-look flooring carries the material through the entire room.

Trinity Groves
Wood-look plank tile flooring installed throughout the living and dining space — a durable, low-maintenance alternative to hardwood with the same warm, natural look.

02
Drawings, finishes, and a written fixed scope so every decision is made before demolition.

04
We review every surface with you and hand over a written workmanship warranty.
Why Homeowners Choose Us
Every project runs on the same standards, whether it’s a powder bath or a full gut renovation.
Your scope of work is documented and signed before we begin. Changes only happen when you ask for them.
Floor protection, dust containment, and covered pathways from the front door to the work area.
Tools staged, surfaces swept, and the house returned to you at the end of every working day.
Our craftsmanship is warranted in writing, and we return to stand behind it.
You have the mobile number of the person accountable for your project. No account managers.
A start-to-finish schedule with dates you can hold us to — not a moving target. You'll always know what's happening and when.
Trust & Credentials
General liability and workers' compensation in force on every project. Certificates provided before we start demo.
We pull permits and clear HOA architectural review for communities throughout our service area — from Highland Park and Preston Hollow to Frisco, Prosper, Southlake, Argyle, and Flower Mound.
Clients
“We interviewed four firms. Dallas Craftworks was the only one where the person who walked our kitchen was the same person swinging the hammer eight weeks later.”
“The scope was written down before anything was demolished, and it did not change. That alone was worth the wait for their calendar to open.”
“Our house stayed livable. Floors covered, dust walls up, everything swept at the end of each day. Our children never noticed a job site.”
“The finish carpentry is the part guests always comment on. The reveals are tight, the paint is flawless, and nothing has moved in three years.”

About
Dallas Craftworks Co. was founded by Murillo in 2015, built around a simple idea: the person who designs your renovation should be the person who’s accountable for it.
Over a decade, that’s meant staying owner-operated — Murillo personally walks every job, writes every estimate, and signs off on the final walkthrough. No account managers, no rotating crew leads, no handoffs. Just the person actually responsible for your home, from first conversation to final coat.
